A true coach build. Originally plotted for a small production run of three vehicles, this is the only RT Roadster made. A one-off vehicle created for a special RUF client, finally available and in the light exclusively through RUF North America.
Our 2011 RUF RT Roadster is the ultimate exploration of what the perfect tribute to the most iconic aspects of the Targa experience could ever be. Built on the basis of a 997.2 body-in-white, this RT Roadster is a soft-window targa, RT12S. Putting out 650 horsepower in an all-wheel-drive layout, mated to a PDK transmission, this RT Roadster is the greatest exhilaration of all senses. Hearing the turbos spool with direct connection to the outside world and a timeless look that every enthusiast loves is what truly makes the ownership experience of this one-off even more special. Finished in Chromaflash hologram matte over red leather with silver stitching and grey carpeting, this vehicle combination is elegant and expressive of the driving experience. On the interior the red leather extends throughout the air vent blades of the car, around the speakers, used for tubing on the original floor mats, with extended carbon fiber trimming throughtout the interior as well. The carbon accents on the interior wrap around the steering wheel, parking brake lever, shifter, and air vents. In a continuation of the brilliant paintwork done, the interior touch points are painted to color match the exterior in an equally stunning Chromaflash matte paint. Delivered during Rennsport VI, this RT Roadster was featured in MotorTrend as it was unveiled to its lucky owner. Optioned with factory Porsche phone connectivity, foldable carbon buckets, color matching hard top panels, matching red leather luggage belts on the rear parcel shelf, centerlock wheels with carbon ceramic brakes on all four corners. Having had only one owner since new, this is a superbly preserved piece of RUF manufacturing history.
