The only way RUF could follow up the iconic CTR1 (aka Yellowbird) was by going back to the drawing board and bringing to life the CTR2. Crowned the world’s fastest production car of 1995, the CTR2 was a limited run send-off of the aircooled platform, based on the 993 architecture. Powered by a 3.6 liter twin turbo, the CTR2 came in two variants; the 520 horsepower CTR2 and 580 horsepower CTR2 Sport.
This example is an incredibly unique vehicle ordered as a Widebody CTR2 Sport with one of around 4 adjustable all-wheel-drive systems made. Finished in a menacing Black over full green leather interior, this CTR2 Sport has been updated with recent services and was sent back to the factory early in its life to repair the car after a transportation issue. Upon its full refresh at the factory, the car was updated to approved PSS10 coil overs and received the current green interior.
