2024 RUF SCR “Mary Stuart”

The SCR is a true ground-up RUF creation, and a near 4-decade follow up to the original ’Super Carrera RUF’ from 1978. Its bespoke architecture centers on a carbon-fiber monocoque with bonded front and rear spaceframes and an integrated high-strength steel roll cage. The Carbon-fiber monocoque recalls the timeless silhouette while concealing thoroughly modern engineering beneath. Double-wishbone suspension with pushrod-actuated dampers is fitted on both the front and rear axles, while cross-drilled carbon-ceramic brakes provide immense stopping power. Mounted behind the rear axle is RUF’s naturally aspirated 4.0-liter, water-cooled flat-six, derived from the renowned Mezger engine family. Producing 510 horsepower and 347 lb-ft of torque, it revs to 8,750 rpm and drives the rear wheels exclusively through a six-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential. Weighing just 2,756 pounds, the SCR reaches 62 mph in 3.4 seconds and continues to a top speed of 199 mph. Chassis 06011 is among a small number of SCRs completed in RUF’s rare “Mary Stuart” specification. Distinguished by a bespoke rear decklid with a full-width spoiler wrapping into the rear fenders, the design pays homage to the celebrated “Mary Stuart” tail fitted to Porsche’s works Carrera RSRs in 1973 and in honor of the ‘Ruff’ collar Mary, Queen of Scotts wore. Finished in Paint to Sample Ultra Violet, the exterior is complemented by matte Titanium Grey 19-inch lightweight wheels, matching exterior accents, quick-release hood pins, and a valve-controlled exhaust. Prior to delivery, the body received full paint protection film and a ceramic coating. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in black and grey Alcantara with Ultra Violet leather accents, matching contrast stitching, and lightweight RUF-branded carbon-shell Recaro bucket seats featuring exposed purple-tinted carbon fiber and Sabelt harnesses. Carbon-fiber interior trim, Titanium Grey accents, and embroidered “Mary Stuart” detailing complete the purposeful cockpit.
