We have loved the 911 for 60 years. With the TRIBUTE, we are bringing back one of the things that made this icon what it is: the air-cooled engine.

The TRIBUTE is a nostalgic journey back to our roots. It has the spirit of the classic air-cooled engine, with modern technology added, and it has passed all emissions tests.

At its heart is Alois Ruf’s new air-cooled 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat six, a piece of engineering deeply rooted in our tradition. It has an aluminum block and cylinder heads, four camshafts, three valves per cylinder, and variable cam timing and valve lift. It makes 550 horsepower at 6,750 RPM with the throttle response and sound only air-cooling can give.

The TRIBUTE is built upon our own carbon-fibre monocoque, with our proprietary Integrated Roll Cage, made of high-strength steel and bonded to the tub and rear frame, making the chassis very stiff while keeping it light. As equipped in our other models, it features double wishbone suspension on all four corners with push-rod-actuated, horizontally mounted dampers. Power goes to the rear wheels through a 7-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential.

It has all the RUF essentials: steering full of feel, an engine that overwhelms the senses, and a lightness, agility and strength you can feel in every input. With the rush of an air-cooled engine behind you, the TRIBUTE is a vehicle unlike any other.
